Van Eyck (c. 1390 – before c. 9 July 1441) was an early Dutch painter activein Bruges and one of the most significant artists of the 15thcentury.

Realisation and Inspiration

Young had never used acrylics, painted or used a brush.  She didn'teven realise she had any potential to paint.  When she saw the original Van Eyck she really wanted to try.  
This first work, created with a little help from alcohol to get over her fear was an astonishing piece of work finished in a day.  She realised that everyone can have hidden talents and no one should be afraid to try no matter how difficult or scary this is. 
Since then she has never looked back and created some fantastic works of art.
